About Us

CrudePixel was created by Michael Manning, Darren Gregory and Tony Stubbings. We host a weekly podcast on the site through CP: Radio and our goal is to promote not necessarily the most popular but the most innovative, exciting and revolutionary developments in gaming and its surrounding culture. We live and breathe games and love contributing to this website, which we hope will steadily grow in popularity as we develop as contributors to the industry ourselves. We have three feature writers, Aaron McArthur, Bryan Silva and Mark Adams.

A 25 year old student of Digital Music and Game Design at the Teeside University, Darren has an extensive knowledge of the technical/development side to games specifically with Mods. His role on the site is to write about Culture and Development as well as produce a regular video on CP: TV called Sourcecode which reviews the industries most exciting developments in Modding.

A 25 year old graduate of Digital Music and Sound Arts from Brighton University, Michael composes music and sound design for games and the moving image through his company Grandbrother. Michael has recently got into Indie Development, his graduate project A Universe Apart is an audio-puzzle game made in Multimedia Fusion 2. Michaels role on the site is to post Culture and Spotlight articles as well as to produce a regular video on CP: TV called Indie Roundup which reviews the industries most exciting Indie Games.
